Christianity is not a Religion- (Study of James- Part 12)

Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless.  Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

James 1:26-27

I am the last person that could ever be religious, but people still call me religious. Its crazy, because I’m not religious and I don’t have a religion. Being a Christian, don’t mean the you have a new religion or your religious. Being a Christian means, that your saved, even know your a sinner. Means that you see you have sin, and sinned against God and all man and that you repent, meaning turn back from, your sin. Doing no longer.

In my view, your deceived, if you think for one minute that your christian faith is a religion and your trying all you can to do the perfect things, to be saved. I say that because, your saved already, so why are you going to try to do good to be saved. Jesus died for your life to even heaven.

Here where people get confused, religion, faith, work. People say, their religion is what they put there faith into but the work really hard to get to heaven. Think about that for minute. Here is the thing about that that don’t make since, if your working hard to get to heaven, then why put you faith in religion? If your works will save you and not your faith? That’s what religion is, a way to get to God. As a christian, God get to us.  See to flip there.

The verse on top is clearing saying, if you think you have a religion, then are you perfect? That no wrong found in you? If you think your religious and you have wrong in you, then your a fool, pretty much what it means.

On the pure religion from God part. What that means is pretty much, that your acting upon your faith. Remember, we must hear the word and act on it. Read Part 11 of this study.

Once again, don’t just talk it but walk it also.
